Gone to be with her husband of 50 years, William James, 1913-1989; infant daughter Margaret Rose, 1942; grand daughter Tori-Ann Dewhirst, 1964. She leaves behind to mourn her daughter Randi, grandchildren Douglas (Patti-Lyn), Leone (Billie), Robin (Annette); great-grandchildren Kaylahn (Philip), Taylor, Kyla, Dayna, Connor, Riley, Mackenzie, Bradey and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was born in Richmond Hill, Ontario to Robert James and Sarah Isabella Beatty, the eighth of ten children; outliving them all.
Mom had dignity, graciousness, gentleness, and just good common sense, loving all creatures great and small, her favourite being cats. She was a devoted mother and grandmother, placing her family first.
Thank you to the staff of Mill Site Lodge and Dr. Mah for your wonderful care and sharing with me her bright moments and details of her day when I wasn’t there with her.

So much pain, so much sorrow,
Searching for a new tomorrow,
Angelic hands reach from the sky,
In heaven now her spirit flies,
Once trapped within a shell,
Living in a mortal’s hell,
No longer does she feel the pain,
Her spirit free to fly again,
From our world she did depart,
But living forever within our hearts,
So to us she did not die,
Wipe those tears, do not cry,
Rejoice for she is finally free,
To live with God for all eternity.
