Flora Lamb passed away peacefully at home on February 2, 2011.
Flora was born in Advocate, Nova Scotia and lived there until moving to the Cariboo in 1966. She enjoyed making everyone laugh and loved the company of her family and friends.
Flora is pre-deceased by her parents Garfield and Georgie Strong; brothers Leslie and Fred, and grandson Terry. She leaves to mourn her long time love Alex Andrasi; sons Garfield (Elsie), Edward, David Sr. (Elsie), Stanton (Myrna), Greg (Karen), Dave Jr. (Jamie); grandchildren Corina, Melanie, Jerri-Rene, Tara, Kathy, Aaron, Brian, Rod, Kelsey, and 19 great grandchildren; sisters: Blanche (100 Mile House), Ardis (Williams Lake); brothers Henry (Anne), and Morton of Nova Scotia.
A Celebration of Life gathering will be held on Friday, February 11, 2011 at the Creekside Seniors Center at 12 noon to 3pm, all are welcome.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Canadian Cancer Society, Interior Region, 1633 Pandosy St., Kelowna, BC V1Y 1P6.
