In loving memory ~ We are sad to announce the death of our dear loved one, Evelyn Robina Burgess, who died in 100 Mile District Hospital with family at her side. She suffered a long battle with Crohn's Disease and other illness.
Evelyn is survived by her daughters Sarah Smith (Brian), Kimberly Burgess, grandchildren Jake Smith, Kevin Smith, Shylo Burgess, Maria Burgess, Partner and Friend John Fett, sister Katherine Warren (Langley), brother in law Earl Burgess (Quesnel) niece and nephews.
Evelyn will be remembered for her feistiness, kindness, welcoming everyone into her home, her decadent home baked treats and the love for her family.
Our heartfelt thank you to the amazing caregivers and team in hospital as well as ambulance paramedics.
A memorial service will be held Oct 23rd, 11am in the United Church. Graveside service to follow at 2 pm. Please contact family for more info.
