Eva passed away June 24, 2007 after a short but courageous battle with cancer. Eva is survived by her husband of 54 years, George and all of their children: Kathy (Pete), Jo-Anne (Larry), Colleen (Bob), Georgina (Edward), Tom, and eight grandchildren and one great grandchild, as well as her siblings Stan, Margaret, Phylis, Madeliene, and Irene. Eva’s ancestors were pioneers of the Cariboo who ran stopping houses and ultimately ranched cattle; Eva was born in the main house of the Lac La Hache Guest Ranch. She enjoyed homelife and was dedicated to her family. Her ever calm and friendly nature made small of life’s large challenges. Eva loved to read and when she was no longer able, she spent as much time as possible in her garden. We would like to thank Dr. Nicholson and the staff at 100 Mile Hospital, and all our friends and family for support. In lieu of flowers, please send donations to the CNIB.
