It is with great sadness the family of
Margaret Howarth announce her passing on
March 9th. Margaret passed away peacefully at home in Courtenay. Pre-deceased by her husband Tom in 2005. Margaret is survived by her daughters: Lynn Scott (Jim) of Courtenay, Dodie Corsi (Barry) of Lac la Hache, Betsy Buckland (Bob) of Lac la Hache, four grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. Margaret and
her husband Tom moved to Lac la Hache
in 1950 and loved the Cariboo. They spent
their time camping and fishing at the many little lakes. In 2005, after Tom’s passing, Margaret moved to Courtenay to
live with her daughter, Lynn and her son-in-law, Jim. Margaret spent the
last three years attending concerts, soccer & basketball games, picnics, trips to the beach, walks around the airpark, long drives and family events accompanied by her caregiver Iris. A
celebration of Margaret’s life will be held at a later date. Margaret will be sadly missed by family and the many others who knew and loved her.
