We are saddened to inform you that Erik passed away in 100 Mile House Hospital with his wife at his side, after a two-year battle with leukemia.
Erik is predeceased by his parents (mother Karin and father Arne). He is mourned and missed by his devoted wife Verna, son Danny, brother Terje, sister Torril, and also stepson Timothy, stepdaughter Tammy, and in Denmark, stepsister Venke.
His occupation as a boilermaker was an important part of his life that he enjoyed along with his Union brothers and sisters of Local 359.
He did a lot of hunting and fishing in his earlier years, two of his favourite pastimes.
In his retirement years, visiting with old friends was an important part of his leisure time.
