Dorrain Lillian Eades passed away suddenly at her home in 100 Mile House on January 10, 2011 at the age of 73.

She is survived by her loving husband Tony Eades, sister and brother-in-law Linda and Byron Best, daughter Debbie Webb, son and daughter-in-law Allan and Sheree Hlavach, daughter Cynthia Watson, 10 grandchildren and many extended family members and friends.

Dorrain will be missed for her leadership with the South Cariboo Lioness Club, volunteer work with the 100 Mile United Church and Eagle Ridge United Church in Coquitlam, her volunteer work with Pennies for Diabetes, 100 Mile Hospital, Highway 24 Interlakes Lions Club and volunteer work with the Burnaby Heritage Museum and Port Moody Museum. Dorrain received many awards in recognition for her volunteer services.

Dorrain was born in Gravelbourg, Saskatchewan. She filled her life keeping busy with her many friends and family. She loved gardening, volunteer work, and travelling with Tony and other family members. Dorrain’s spirit could be felt by anyone she met and she was a mentor to her family and friends. She made a difference in this world and will be deeply missed.

A service will be held on January 22, 2011 at Eagle Ridge United Church in Coquitlam at 2:00 p.m.

A Celebration of Life Ceremony will be held on January 29, 2011 at the Lodge - Valley Room behind the Red Coach Inn in 100 Mile House at 1:00 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, donations to Diabetes Camperships (CDA).
