Mrs. Dorothy Amy Cleave passed away peacefully in 100 Mile House, BC at 98 years of age.

She will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her sons, John (Marlene), of 100 Mile House, Harvey (Karen) of Armstrong; her daughter, Joy (Bill) Friesen of Deka Lake; as well as her sister, Lorraine (Bunty) Yeo of Burnaby and all of their families.

Dorothy was a kind and caring grandmother to many grandchildren and great grandchildren.

She was predeceased by her spouse of 59 years, John “Jack” Lawrence Cleave, and her son, Edward “Ted” Cleave.

Dorothy enjoyed the many years she lived and farmed in Pitt Meadows. Her days were kept busy in the barn or tending to her large gardens where she grew vegetables along with grand dahlias, poppies and roses.

Dorothy was a kind, caring and generous woman; always having a pot of tea on for the visitors who liked to stop in and spend time with her.

Funeral Services will be held Saturday, April 01, 2017, 1:00pm at the 100 Mile Funeral Home,

225 Cedar Avenue, 100 Mile House, BC.

A graveside burial service will be taking place on Friday, April 07, 2017, 1:00pm at the Armstrong/Spallumcheen Cemetery in Armstrong, BC.
