Doreen passed away peacefully on Oct. 1, 2006 at the age of 83. She will be dearly missed by her loving family: daughters Kathy Coukell (Jim), Linda Bowe (Gil); sons David (Yoka) and John (Bonnie) and numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren. Doreen was born in Penticton, B.C. and was raised and educated in Vancouver, B.C. She moved to 100 Mile House, B.C. where she resided for the last 60 years. She worked at Overwaitea for many years and made numerous friends. She loved her work and she loved her community. The last part of Doreen’s life was spent at Fischer Place , where she always received excellent and loving care. A Funeral Service will be held on Fri., Oct. 6, 2006 at 2:00 p.m. at the United Church in 100 Mile House. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimers Society or to the Hospice Society.
