Don passed away peacefully at his home on Sunday, Feb. 11. He is survived by his loving wife Vivian of 68 years, and eight children: Wayne (Jean); Chilliwack, B.C.; Bonnie, Sointula, B.C.; Vicki (Harold), Gibsons, B.C.; Donna (Russ), Alberta; Barb (Carl), Sacremento, Calif.; Ron (Carol) Forest Grove, B.C.; Russ (Barb), Abbotsford, B.C.; Lori (Wally), Gibsons. He also leaves 23 grandchildren and 33 great grandchildren. Don & Viv spent 22 years here in 100 Mile House where they developed many cherished friendships. Just over two years ago, Don and Viv moved back to Gibsons where they had resided while raising their family. Don was a veteran who served overseas during the Second World War. He will be fondly remembered by those who knew him.
