1935-2010

On March 23, 2010, Donald George Wilson passed away at Royal Inland Hospital after an heroic effort of battling both Cancer and Kidney disease. Don will be sorrowfully missed by the love of his life , partner and best friend Joyce. Don also leaves behind his sister Diane, his stepchildren Jim (Brenda), Barry, Debra (Michael), Cheryl (Ryan); grandchildren, nieces, nephews and his children from a previous marriage Donnie, Dona and Elly Mae.

Don worked hard throughout his life but found his niche when he and Joyce opened their collectable store in 100 Mile House, B.C.. After twenty years of selling bliss and bartering Don and Joyce sold the business and moved to Kamloops, B.C., to begin their adventures of retirement. Not retiring completely from antiquing and collecting Don enjoyed buying and selling throughout B.C., their travels taking them across Canada and to the United States. Don especially enjoyed the trips he and Joyce took to the Canadian East Coast and the world wind holiday they shared in Europe. His favourite past-time was watching sports, especially hockey. The family wishes to

give special thanks to Dr. V. DeKock, the compassionate nurses on Seven North, family, friends and neighbours for all their ongoing support through Don’s lengthy illness. Don will be laid to rest at a later date at the Hillside Cemetery without a ceremony as he requested.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to either the Cancer Society or Kidney Foundation.
