We regret to announce the passing of Del after a four year battle with kidney disease.
She was predeceased by her daughter Jane in 2019 and her son Ron in 2021.
She is survived by her partner of 56 years, Sharon, her daughter Kim (Rod), Sharon's son Mark, and special friend Emil. She also leaves behind two brothers Stan & Lyle, a sister Meryle, and many grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Del was born in Swan River Manitoba and moved to Kelowna as a young girl. She moved to 100 Mile in 1972, where she and Sharon opened Shadel Jewellers in the Cariboo mall. They ran Shadel's until 2000, when Del decided to retire.
A family gathering will be held at a later date.
