August 3, 1957 – June 15, 2008

David Jon Caverly, beloved husband of Deborah Ann of 100 Mile House, BC went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, June 15, 2008 at the age of 50 years. David was born in North Vancouver, but spent his childhood at Green Lake BC and attended the one room school house at the Flying U. He went on to serve in the armed forces before his first daughter, Andrea was born. He later returned to 100 Mile where he met his loving wife Deborah and where they eventually settled together with their children Karli and Sheldon. Dave loved the outdoors and had a special touch with animals. He had a zest for life and his laughter and sense of humor always lit up a room. His bravery, courage and strength has inspired us all and he will be missed with more sorrow than one heart can hold. He is survived by his wife Deborah Ann Caverly (Doyle), his loving parents Jon and Arlene Caverly, his three children Andrea Kiper (Caverly) of Calgary, Karli Caverly of Penticton, Sheldon Caverly of 100 Mile House; his grandchildren, Caleb, Kaya and Jayden; his sisters Diana Law (Caverly) of Aldergrove, Darlene Irving (Caverly) of Aldergrove and his brother Dan Caverly of Nelson, his niece and nephews Janna, Brennan, Nathan and Brodie. He will also be missed by a long list of extended family and friends. A celebration of David’s life will be held at the 100 Mile Baptist Church on Saturday, June 21, 2008 at 2:00 PM with Pastor Pat Stich officiating. Donations can be made to the Diabetes Association.
