It is with great sadness that we announce that David Jensen died unexpectedly on October 17, 2019.
David lived a big life in a short period of time. David was born in Ladner and was a commercial fisherman from the age of 14. He moved to the Cariboo in 1996 and drove logging trucks for over 20 years. David loved the adventure of it all, and he appreciated everyone he got to meet and the places he got to see.
David will be forever missed by his wife Marnie, his daughters Tahsis, Emma, Lauren, and Sophie, his mother Rose, Mother in law Gloria, his 'brother' Grant, sister-in-law Brittany, niece Emily and nephews Tyler and Cody, as well as his many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. David was devoted to his girls. He spent countless happy hours watching dance competitions, festival performances, and hockey games. He made the best pancakes and tea parties, and he learned to tolerate spa days.
"No one is actually dead until the ripples they cause in the world die away."
David—the ripples you left will be felt forever.
