On March 24, 2011, Daniel Wilfred Giles passed away peacefully at the age of 55 years. Survived by his loving wife of 36 years, Linda Giles and sons Brent (Tamara) of 100 Mile House and Craig (Alexis) of Kamloops and daughter Stacey Hodgson (Joe) of Kamloops as well as eight grandchildren, Jesse, Katy, Blake, Haylie, Jaida, Myah, Logan and Paige. He leaves his mother, Marion Giles, his sisters Karen Lawrence (Ron) and Lisa Giles (Mark) all of 100 Mile House. Dan was predeceased by his father, Norman Giles. Dan will always be remembered for the never-ending love he had for his family and the genuine care he showed to all those he met. He spent some of his happiest times on his boat going wherever the waters took him. His creative talents led him down many paths throughout his life. Dan was a creator, an inventor, a designer, a musician, and a builder, a man of many talents. He touched many people on his journey in life and will be greatly missed by all those who knew and loved him. Dan’s journey will never end as it will carry on in the hearts of each and every one of his children and grandchildren.

A Celebration of Dan’s life will be held at a later date.
