June 10, 1950 - September 1, 2018
Daniel Murray Henderson, age 68, went home to glory on September 01 2018, in 100 Mile House British Columbia. Dan is survived by his Loving wife Iris Henderson of Lac la Hache BC; his son Jason Henderson (Angela Henderson) of William's Lake B.C.; his daughter Hope Henderson (Friedhelm Neubert) of Penticton BC.; his Grandchildren Danial Campbell, Sierra Hannes, Alex Long, Felicia Henderson, Sheldon Henderson, Nathan Long, James Henderson, Elizabeth Henderson and 5 great grandchildren Ashley Campbell, Mark Campbell, Molly Hannes, Brooke Hannes and Dean Henderson.

Dan was born on June 10, 1950 in North Vancouver to William Wilfred Henderson (Blacky) and Elsie Kotloway, after graduating highschool in 100 Mile house he married the love of his life Iris Letang and lived all over BC from the great white North of Ft. Nelson to the coast, but the Cariboo always held their hearts.

Dan was known to be very a social and active man in the community who touched many lives. You could find him on the slopes on the ski patrol, in the heat fighting forestfires, on the front line of search and rescue. If you couldn't find him he was out camping or fishing with his family, or out on the ice with his team. His family and friends will always remember him as the man who tells bad jokes and has the biggest most generous heart you will ever meet.

A celebration of life will be held on September 22 at 2:00pm , with reception to follow at the Lac La Hache Community Hall. The family would like to thank the Lac La Hache Fire Hall for all their support.
