Daniel Fleming, age 84 of 108 Mile Ranch, passed away suddenly and peacefully on June 15, 2010 at 100 Mile District Hospital.
He was born September 19, 1925 in Strathaven, Lanakshire, Scotland.
In 1989, Dan moved to 108 Mile Ranch and quickly fell in love with the area. He was a Past-President and long-time member of the Lions Club, and was also a member of the Senior Men’s Golf Club.
Dan enjoyed bowling, camping, and fishing. He also loved the view from his house of Sepa Lake and the 108 Mile Golf Course.
Dan enjoyed the companionship of Ellen Meyer of 108 Mile Ranch, for the past 3 years. They did many things together including a trip to Scotland in 2009.
Dan was predeceased by his wife Eileen in 1997.
He will be lovingly remembered by his three children, Dawn (Keith), Roy (Debbie), Gail (Wayne); and by numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Dan’s family and his close friends held a private gathering at his favorite spot.
