Colleen Anne Jackson passed away on May 13, 2020 after a 6 year struggle with cancer at 100 Mile Hospital. She was the wife of Daniel Edward William Jackson and shared 49 fabulous years together.
Colleen was born on November 1st, 1950 in Burnaby to Archie and Sylvia Kirkland. She attended Burnaby South high school where she met then married her high school sweetheart Dan. Colleen worked as a admitting clerk for Burnaby and Langley Hospitals for years before retiring in 2000.
She enjoyed long walks with her beloved corgis, tending to her beautiful garden and spending time laughing with her family and friends, and playing with her grandkids.
She is survived by her husband Dan Jackson, her sons Matt (Nicki) and Brian (Christie) and her grandchildren Emma, Lucas, Morgan, Nate and Hudson.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to 100 Mile Hospice Society, South Cariboo Health Foundation or the BC Cancer Society.
