September 24, 1923 - January 24, 2025
In Loving Memory ~
On January 24, 2025 at the age of 101 with close family by her side, Claudine began her ascent to the gates of heaven. As the heavy gates swung open, there stood her beloved husband, Myron, her sons Bobby and Donnie, her daughter Judy, and her grandson Derek; all awaiting her arrival with open arms.
Her most treasured and cherished possessions were her children, grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great great grandchildren. Always taking pride in all their activities, their families, and their accomplishments. Her life spent here was a gift to all who knew her or got the chance to meet her. (She was known as our "Nannie" by family). She formed lifelong friendships with ease and cared deeply for those around her. With her endearing personality she inevitably touched the lives of everyone she met in a way that will prove to be everlasting.
She was the root of the family, and her love kept us all together. She was the most beautiful, dedicated Mother and Nannie anyone could ever have. She will be in our hearts forever.
Claudine was born in Haute Aboujagane, New Brunswick, September 24, 1923. She married her husband Myron on December 29, 1942, and lived in Nova Scotia for approximately fifteen years. The family moved to Lac La Hache, British Columbia in 1957, where she continued to raise her family throughout the years. She later moved to Kamloops in 2002 and lived there for 21 years until her health failed. She then went to Fischer Place Long Term Extended Care Home in 100 Mile House in April 2023.
Mourning her passing, but so happy to have had her for so long, are her children Sylvia (Allen); Rodger (Ivy); Richard (Ivey); and Larry (Lori); grandchildren Tanya, Michelle, Tina, Shauna, Tracy, Erin, Lisa, Brian; her great grandchildren; her great great grandchildren and their families.
She also leaves to mourn her two sisters Jeannine and Geraldine (Edmond); her two brothers Gerard (Vina); Levi (Lucille); and many nieces and nephews; all residing in New Brunswick.
She was also predeceased by her parents, Didace and Josephine Leger, two sisters Delphine and Lucia and six brothers Robert, Alcide, Emile, Yvon, Ovila, and Rene.
We all stand together and wish you well as you join your beloved ones in heaven.
"Goodbye Mom /Nannie,
