The fire went out for the last time at Catherine's home in Lone Butte, BC. It is with great sadness that the family of Catherine Wilson announces her passing.
Catherine is survived by her sister Janet, her brother Robert, many cousins, nieces, and nephews, and her horse "Buck".
She is predeceased by her father Clyde, mother Bea, and step-father Craig, and her many dogs and cat who were her children.
Catherine (CaribooCate) was a horse-nut from when she was a little girl, building a corral in the backyard and pretending to be a horse. She discovered the Cariboo, which she dearly loved, with her first trip to the Flying U Ranch, where she visited many times over the years.
She made Lone Butte her permanent home in 2011, where she enjoyed the people and the grace and tranquility of rural life. Catherine, a kind and caring soul, will be dearly missed and forever in our hearts.
Rest in peace our dear sister Catherine. Rest in peace.
