It is with profound sadness that our family announces the passing of our beloved, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother (TuTu to all). Cathy passed away peacefully with family by her side and is survived by her daughter Karen Friess (Terry) and son John Watts (Sherry). She is also survived by four grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
Cathy was predeceased by the love of her life, Harry, her husband of 43 years; two brothers and one sister. She had 25 wonderful years working for the Hudson’s Bay Co. in Vancouver, B.C. until she retired in 1989. Cathy had a great sense of humour and wonderful zest for life. She truly enjoyed her last seven years with family and friends at Green Lake. She had a great number of friends - both young and old, and her big smile, lots of laughs and great times together will be remembered forever. Karen and Terry are sincerely grateful to both Dr. Klopper and Dr. Goerts and all the wonderful caring nurses and staff of 100 Mile House District Hospital. We would also like to thank Tony Carniel and family, Bill and Lesley Stokes, Kathleen and George McCord and John Maxwell for all their support.
