Carmen STARBUCK

February 4, 2011

Dear Friends of Carmen Starbuck,

Around 5 p.m. (February 4th, 2011), Carmen my beloved wife, left her body and went on to the light assisted by Christ, as a promise to me, from Him. She went quickly and comfortably. Carmen was a wonderful woman, wife, mother, grandmother and friend to many. We will, of course, miss her with a tear in our hearts, although we know she is with us in spirit. We do trust that this was her final wish and now she is without pain and affliction. (She suffered from pulmonary fibrosis, a lung disease). Her many friends, family and associates were unduly kind in sending her well wishes, love and light. I want to thank you all on behalf of her family. She was a person well-loved and fortunately had a great Christmas with family and the occasion to share a luncheon with her 70 Mile friends only a few weeks back. In her own way, she said goodbye.

There is a Memorial for her at our home on Saturday the 19th of February. If you wish to attend, contact me at 250-456-6039.

The great lesson for me here, is to love those you are with constantly and unconditionally, with an open heart. ‘As you never know what you’ve got, till it’s gone’, has never been a more true statement. My heart is broken, but I know it will heal with time.

In The Light,

Robert Nichol
