Bud Williams

September 29, 1935 - September 14, 2022
Bud Williams 86 years old of Lac La Hache, B.C., passed away at the 100 Mile House Hospital after a short battle with Cancer.
Bud was well known in the Lac La Hache community, he has been involved in many events over the years, snowmobile races, outhouse races, winter carnivals, regatta's, parades, ball tournaments just to name a few.
Bud moved to Lac La Hache with his family in 1973 from Delta, B.C., and set up a snowmobile business Williams Outdoor Recreation, and continued that business for 50 years. Bud's extensive knowledge of snowmobiles made him the go to person for used snowmobile parts, receiving calls from all over North America.
Bud was predeceased by his parents Bill and Winnifred Williams and sister Penelope Stewart. Bud is survived by wife Shirley of 67 years, sons Buddy (Sandi), James, and daughter Cheryl (Craig). 9 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren, brother Fred and many nieces and nephews.
The family would like to thank Dr. Omer, the nurses and everyone at the 100 Mile House Hospital for the care and compassion they provided.
A Celebration of Life will be held at the Lac La Hache Community Hall on Sept 25/22 at 1 pm.
