Bruce passed away July 6, 2021, in Kelowna, BC at the age of 74.
Bruce was born and raised in North Vancouver, BC. He was a charter student at Simon Fraser University. He loved boats and enjoyed all sports and racing, especially NASCAR. He was a boat builder in his younger years, and then moved to 100 Mile House, BC, where he started his career in the lumber industry.
He was a millwright for Ainsworth Lumber, Flavelle Cedar, and Weldwood. He retired to Sheridan Lake, BC, where he enjoyed watching all of his sports and spending time with his family and friends. He was a very intelligent and proud man who will be deeply missed.
Bruce is survived by many friends and family, inlcuding his children Frankie (Bill) and Ethan (Sandra); his grandchildren Levi (Taryn) and Alexa (Tanner); sister Evie (Greg); and his cousins Tommy (Angie) and Glen (Mona). He was predeceased by his father Arlo (d. 1987); mother Irene (d. 2012), and his brother Michael "Magoo" (d. 1986).
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later, undetermined, date. Interment will take place at Lakeview Cemetery, at Roe Lake where Bruce will join Arlo, Irene, and Michael at rest.
