It is with sad hearts that we announce the passing of Brian Malm after a long and courageous battle with cancer.
Brian was born and raised in the Cariboo but spent many years in the Peace River country where he forged many wonderful friendships. Brian was a hard worker and was always first to lend a hand when needed. He asked for very little in life and found happiness in small things such as fishing, tending to his garden or picking berries.
His infectious grin and sense of humour were sure to brighten your day.
Brian is predeceased by his parents, Howard and Eleanor, step mom Linda and niece Amanda.
Survived by his son Ashley, brothers Ed, Ken (Jody), sisters Sharon (Dan) and Ruth (Barry). Also survived by his Auntie Marie who held a special place in Brian's heart. Brian also leaves to mourn many nieces, nephews, cousins and many wonderful friends.
A special thank you to Dr. Street and Dr. Montgomery, the pharmacy staff at Donex, 100 Mile Hospital and it's subsidiaries.
A small family gathering will be held to celebrate Brian's life as were his wishes. He will be laid to rest beside his parents at the Lakeview Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, a donation may be made to the Hospice Society in 100 Mile House if desired.
