Sept. 02, 1945 - May 10, 2014

Bob Warner, a resident of Deka Lake for 17 years and a Volunteer Firefighter for the Deka Lake Fire Hall for 16 years, affectionately known as “Sparky” died suddenly and unexpectedly at his home the evening of Saturday, May 10th in the presence of his soulmate of 33 1/2 years, Sharie Stear.

Bob leaves behind his sons; Scott Warner & Richard Warner; Scott’s partner, Catherine; grandchildren Olivia (10), Eva (7), Liam (11) and Tiernan (8), also his sisters; Pat Swatton, Bev Warner and Bobbie Warner amongst many other beloved family members and friends.

No words can convey how much you will be missed.

It’s you I love Bob, forever and ever, until we meet again.


A gathering to say farewell is planned to take place at the Deka Lake Fire Hall. The date is yet to be confirmed and will be announced in Diana Forster’s column in the Free Press.
