Beryl was born in Birmingham, England on November 27, 1921 and died at Millsite Lodge in 100 Mile House, B.C. on August 14, 2006. She was predeceased by her husband Jennings, sons John and Ken, and grandson Zachary. She is survived by her son Barry (Dyanne), daughter Linda, 7 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. Beryl came to Canada in 1945 as a war bride after working as a registered nurse during the war years. Beryl and Jennings lived in many locations in Canada but settled in Forest Grove in 1978. She pursued her career as a registered nurse for many years but in the Cariboo she enjoyed a successful career in real estate. Active, vibrant, caring and loving to the last, Beryl will be greatly missed by everyone who knew her. For her family, her passing leaves an emptiness that cannot be filled.
