It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Bernadette Marie Skalicky. She left us on August 25th, 2022 at the age of 68 after a courageous battle with cancer.
Bernie was born to Evan and Simonne St. Pierre on February 3rd, 1954 in Pine Falls Manitoba. She spent most of her life in British Columbia living in the Lower Mainland, Williams Lake and nally settling in Lac La Hache. She met Maurice Skalicky and they married on January 30th 1970. They had three children in the years after that.
Bernie was a skilled hairdresser. She was very talented with knitting, crocheting and many other crafts. She enjoyed being with family, crafting, watching a good movie and spending time with her kitty Misty.
Bernie is pre deceased by her parents Evan and Simonne, her step mom Joyce her mother and father in law Nanny and Poppy and several uncles, aunts and close friends.
She is survived by her loving husband of 52 years, Maury, her daughters Andrea (Shane, Clayton, Reese and Hayley) and Leanne (Mathew, Alex, Eddie) her son Kenneth (Ethan), her brothers Robert (Joanne) and Fern (Laurie), her uncle Amie (Susan) and her best friend and cousin Diana and Ron.
