It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved mother, Barbara Forcier. She passed away peacefully at the age of 77 years with her family by her side at Langley Hospice on April 21, 2017.

Born in Vancouver, BC, in 1939, Barbara lived in North Delta, 108 Mile Ranch, and, for the past 30 years, in Langley where she was a tireless volunteer with the Lions Club and past volunteer with Langley Victim Services.

Predeceased by husbands, John Pinter (1972), Frank Forcier (1987); stepfather, Balt de Vette (1997); and her loving mother, Lillian de Vette (2004). Survived by her children, Greg French, Mark Pinter (Cathy), Kristen Pinter McRae (Percy), and Brian Pinter (Deborah); her beloved grandchildren, Ashley, Ryan, Taylor, Matthew, Jessica, Teslin, and Alex; and great granddaughter, Ava. Barbara also leaves behind sisters, Pat Davis and Betty Crosby; brothers, Murray Warman (Joanne) and Bob Warman; as well as her many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

A Celebration of Life will be held Sunday, May 28, 2017 at the Fort Langley Lions Hall from 1pm-4pm. All are welcome.

In lieu of flowers, a donation to the Canadian Cancer Society would be greatly appreciated.
