“Go rest high on that mountain Mom, your work on Earth is done.”
Audrey was born and raised in Vancouver, BC and after much convincing moved to 100 Mile House, BC with husband Elmer and son Jim. She grew to love this community with all her heart and resided here for 35 years. Bookkeeping was her specialty and she grew to know many people who became life-long friends. At the age of 71 she decided retirement wasn’t her thing and started Audrey’s Gift Shop which was one of her many great accomplishments. Audrey always made time to listen to or help someone – mothering was one of her greatest gifts. We feel blessed and privileged to have had Audrey as our mother and grandmother. She was the beloved Auntie and Nana to Larry and Kathy Davis and their children, Kimberly, Shayne, and Tanya. We are so grateful to know she is resting in the arms of the Lord; Jim, Diane and Jenni – along with many extended family members. At Audrey’s request a celebration of her life will be held in the summer at Horse Lake.
100 Mile Funeral Service entrusted with the arrangements.
