Arthur NOEL

January 5, 2007

Arthur Noel will be greatly missed by all who knew him well. He passed in the early hours of January 5, 2007, at the age of 93, with family by his side. Known as Todd by his friends and affectionately dubbed “King of the Cariboo” he lived a very full and colourful life. Third born to a family of 14 children, Todd started his life in Ottawa. In his teens he made his way west, the beginning of a life adventure which he fondly recounted. Todd had a passion for the outdoors; most of his working life was spent as a faller on the south coast, with many excursions to the Interior. In 1972 he retired to his Bridge Lake property where he had resided ever since. Todd was predeceased by his wife Arlene in 1998, and is survived by his son Lloyd (Michelle), two daughters, Dayle (James) and Mona (Michael), and six grandchildren Christina, Anna, Lauren, Todd, Joshua and Lucas, as well as many family members back east. He will be remembered by his family and many friends for his fun loving and uplifting nature. Join us for a memorial gathering at his home 1:00 – 3:00 p.m. Saturday, January 13, 2007.
