Allan Stanley HUGGINS

Al, of Burnaby, B.C., was born and raised in Armstrong, B.C. He passed away in Burnaby General Hospital from a stroke and massive hemorrhage. Following high school he served in the R.C.A.F. In 1955, he joined B.C. Telephone, employed 33 years, retiring in 1989. Devoted volunteer installing Lifeline for 15 years. Past member and volunteer of BC Sports Car Club. He enjoyed many years of curling, golf and his beloved flower garden. Al lived to play Old Timers Hockey with Burnaby Winter Club and was inspired by Green Lake property at 70 Mile House. Al is forever loved and sadly missed by his wife Beverley, brother Norman (Marg, deceased), niece Marina (Grant) Crosland and family, nephew Steven, all of Kamloops; brother Ian (Karen) of Armstrong; niece Leslie (Michael) O’Flynn and family of Kelowna; niece Teri Huggins (Darren Copp) of Vancouver, and many other family and friends. In lieu of flowers, donations in Al’s memory may be made to Hospital Foundations of: 100 Mile Hospital, 100 Mile House; Royal Inland Hospital, Kamloops; or Burnaby General Hospital, Burnaby. Special thanks to above hospitals’ doctors and nursing staff for their compassionate care. Cremation-Interment, Forest Lawn in Burnaby.
