Our Mom Passed Peacefully
Into The Arms Of Her Lord.
Mom was predeceased by our Dad, Nels on February 5, 1982; and her parents Kildohl Vall in 1972 and Lila Vall, 1991, of Estevan, Sask. and her brother Louis Vall (Linda) in 1986, of Winnipeg, Man. and her brother Norman (Bernice) of Estavan, Sask. in 2006. She is survived by five children: Diane McNabb (Gordon), Monte Creek, B.C.; Carole Ryan (Marvin), 100 Mile House, B.C.: Marvin Skjerpen (Debbie), Salmon Arm, B.C.; Robert Skjerpen (Monica), Salmon Arm; and Brenda Walter (Robert), High Level Alta.; also three sisters: Jean Skjerpen, Kamloops, B.C.; Bertha Dyke, Kamloops; and Ella Holman (Larry) Medicine Hat, Alta., 10 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren and six great-great-grandchildren. A memorial service to celebrate mother’s life was held October 17 at Gateway City Church, Kamloops; Pastors Tim Schindel and Len Denbraber officiating. She was laid to rest in the 100 Mile House Cemetery October 18, 2008. Pastor Dennis Smith of Bethel Chapel officiated at the graveside.
