Witnesses asked to come forward in regards to assault at Save-On-Foods in 100 Mile House

The altercation occurred on Dec. 18 at roughly 12:50 p.m.

On Dec. 18 at 12:50 pm, 100 Mile RCMP responded to a report of an assault near the Save-On-Foods in 100 Mile House.

A male suspect allegedly grabbed and pushed a female as a result of an altercation about food stamps.

The female victim was allegedly bitten by the suspect’s dog. A female suspect was also present. All parties separated after the altercation.

RCMP sent out patrols for the suspects but they were not located.

This incident has been determined to not be a domestic assault.

A number of witnesses have already come forward. If anyone in the public has further information about this incident, they are asked to call the 100 Mile House RCMP (250-395-2456) and quote file number 2018-4767.
