Small business boost

B.C. Liberal government looking for ways to help small business

The province is creating the BC Small Business Accord to define how to make British Columbia more business-friendly.

A local meeting facilitated by Cariboo-Chilcotin MLA Donna Barnett, and hosted by the South Cariboo Chamber of Commerce (SCCC), was one of many around the province in October and November.

The input was requested by Minister of State for Small Business Naomi Yamamoto for consideration in the accord, as part of the BC Jobs Plan.
