Paving ongoing at 100 Mile Elementary

Folks need to watch for student during parking lot improvements

Parents of children attending 100 Mile House Elementary School, as well as the general public, need to be aware there will be a lot of construction happening at the school.

Noting the crew is ready to pave the front of the school, principal Donna Rodger says this means parking and busing needs to be changed for the rest of the week.

People are being asked to use the lot at the side of the school between the school and Donex for parking.

The parking area at the front of the school will be blocked off as crews prep and pave.

The bus lane will also be removed while paving is underway. Bus students will be dropped off and board buses through the gate on Aspen Avenue.

"It is our hope this work will be completed by Friday afternoon and next week we should be back to normal. We appreciate your patience and assistance as we make these improvements to our school."
