New fire reported northeast of Watch Lake

Blaze discovered July 20 suspected to be lightning caused

A new wildfire is being reported Tuesday northeast of Watch Lake.

The blaze was discovered July 20 and is suspected to be lightning-caused, according to BC Wildfire Services which is listing it at 0.2-hectares in size.

On the BC Wildfire map, the fire is shown to be located about three kilometres northeast of Watch Lake and approximately six kilometres south of Highway 24.
