DriveBC has been overhauled and improved to make it more user-friendly.

The highlight of the new website is an enhanced map view of the province’s highway network. Users can roll over icons on the map to get details of highway events, road conditions and webcam information.

The new website makes it easier to access the ministry’s 175 webcams strategically placed on highways around the province, so people can check conditions in real-time and know before they go on a trip.

Other features of the new DriveBC site include links to avalanche updates and border crossing delays.

The DriveBC website at www.drivebc.ca is just one of the many tools the Ministry of Transportation and Infrastructure is using to keep people informed.
