The South Cariboo Chamber of Commerce (SCCC) has a grant writer available to assist non-profit groups successfully complete funding applications.
SCCC manager Angela Cole says it also has information on some grants currently open for application.
The grant writer program is offered through its contract with the District of 100 Mile House, she adds.
"There are grants out there. I just found two [more] grants, for up to $200,000 each.
"I'm working on an idea for one of them. If anybody has projects that are shovel-ready, in the works and they need funding for it, I encourage them to come and see me."
Cole advises interested groups to have a representative call the SCCC office at 250-395-6124 and book an appointment to find out more about the grant writer program and available funding.
