Drugged driving

There were several roadside checks conducted over the weekend.

One vehicle driver was believed to be impaired by drugs and a drug-recognition expert was called to the scene.

The male driver failed the specific tests at roadside. He was then brought to the detachment for further drug recognition tests and also failed these tests.

He was issued a driving prohibition and was released on a promise to appear for a court date in November.
