Zone 2 (108 Mile/Lac la Hache) Trustee Tanya Guenther has been elected as School District #27 (SD27) board chair.
The new SD27 board chair replaces former chair Joyce Cooper, who took on the leadership role after Will Van Osch stepped down earlier this year.
Guenther says she is "honoured" the SD27 board has elected her to serve in this role, and outlines some of the strengths she brings to role.
