Following are the board highlights from the May 27 Cariboo Regional District (CRD) meeting:
Annual report
The CRD's 2010 Annual Report was unveiled for the board, featuring departmental overviews and accomplishments during the year, as well as goals for 2011.
CRD Area L Director Bruce Rattray says the board encourages residents to read the report, as it is quite informative and helps prepare for things, such as the next budget review.
"It does give a good picture and I think it gives people a better idea what the scope of the activities of the CRD is."

Library supported
Directors agreed to gather book donations at CRD libraries around the district to provide support for the Slave Lake Library.
A wildfire last month destroyed one-third of the structures in the Alberta town, including a new government centre and library, which had opened last summer.
CRD residents are encouraged to drop off new or nearly new books, which will be sent to the Peace Library to be catalogued and stored until a temporary library opens in Slave Lake.
