The Cariboo Regional District (CRD) board meeting on Feb. 11 resulted in Area L Director Bruce Rattray being placed on some internal committees.
Rattray now chairs the Policy and Procedure Committee, and has also been appointed as a member of the Audit Committee and the Solid Waste Management Advisory Committee.
The first committee reviews the CRD's policies and procedures, while the Audit Committee is brand new and its terms of reference are yet to be determined and released.
The third committee will review public input and make recommendations for the current update of the Solid Waste Management Plan (SWMP), which will provide direction for program development regarding garbage, recycling and other waste reduction during the next 10 years.
