Another 400-plus-page omnibus bill expected to pass shortly as the second set of federal budget legislation is in the final stages of Parliament review.

Kamloops-Thompson-Cariboo MP Cathy McLeod says Budget Implementation Bill C-45 enacts government’s overall plan to move forward, but the Liberals decry limitations on committee debate.

Meanwhile, the NDP called for last-minute changes to protect the county’s lakes and rivers.
