BC Float Plane event cancelled

BC Float Plane Association's AGM cancelled at 108 Mile Ranch due to lack of participants

The BC Float Plane Association's annual general meeting planned for July 20-22 in 108 Mile Ranch was cancelled.

It was to be the first time it was held in the South Cariboo, with three days of events and entertaining activities for aviators that had been slated to take place at the South Cariboo Regional Airport and the 108 Mile Golf Resort, with the planes landing on nearby Watson Lake.

Organizer Willy Trinker says the association's AGM has previously been held at Nimpo Lake for many years, but this year the 100 Mile House Flying Club was asked if it would like to host the event.

Unfortunately, Trinker adds, the event had to be cancelled due to a lack of participants.
