B.C.'s eight most wanted suspects sought

The RCMP is alerting the public to eight of British Columbia's most wanted suspects and the search is on.

The individuals are wanted for offences ranging from homicide to drug offences and multiple frauds, and police are hoping that with the help of the public they will be located and arrested soon.

"We want the community to know who these people are, and to remind the public that if they see them, not to approach, but to call police right away," says Insp. Tim Shields, senior RCMP spokesperson for British Columbia.

He adds detachments and specialized investigative units across the province were asked for the names of their most wanted suspects.

"These eight are the names we got back. They are wanted for violent and serious offences, and the sooner we can get them off our streets, the better. We also want to send these eight wanted people a message: 'The public are now watching for you as well, and you have nowhere to run and hide'."

The eight most wanted are:

• Arnold Louette Alexis is wanted for attempted murder.

• Dean Jeffrey Anderson is wanted for assault with a weapon, assault causing bodily harm and breach of probation.

• Conor Vincent D'Monte is wanted for one count of first-degree murder and one count of conspiracy to commit murder.

• Jeffrey Paul Emery is convicted of aggravated assault after pouring hairspray on his common-law wife and lighting her on fire with a barbecue lighter.

• Thomas Lawrence Grant is wanted for property offences, dangerous operation of a motor vehicle and mischief.

• Minh Tan Le - wanted by CFSEU-B.C. for drug trafficking offences. He is also wanted in the United States for drug offences and money laundering.

• Cory Vallee is wanted for two counts of first-degree murder, one count of attempted murder and one count of conspiracy to commit murder.

• Apollo Alex Verde is wanted for 32 counts of fraud or fraud-related offences.

Anyone with information about these people or their current whereabouts is asked to call their local police or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477).
