An all-candidates forum will take place in Bridge Lake for Cariboo Regional District (CRD) Area L (Lone Butte/Interlakes) directorship.
The forum will also include the School District 27 (SD27) Zone 2 Trustee Will Van Osch.
Organizer Wendy Dubbin says the meeting will be held at the Bridge Lake Elementary School on Nov. 15, starting at 7 p.m. Voters of the area are encouraged to attend.
CRD Area L incumbent Bruce Rattray and his opponent Tom Baraniak will speak about their election platform and answer questions from the public, Dubbin adds.
Van Osch, recently re-elected by acclamation, will also be present to speak and answer any queries.
A moderator will keep things going smoothly and questions and answers organized, and Dubbin expects the meeting will wrap up between 8:30 and 9 p.m.
Area L covers not only Lone Butte and all the Interlakes, but also many other areas in the CRD from the west boundary of 100 Mile House to Horse Lake, Watch Lake, North Green Lake and surrounding communities.
Bridge Lake Elementary School is located at 7567 Bridge Lake Rd.
