JCI Kootenay is planning to host an All-Candidates Forum in Cranbrook for the upcoming provincial election at the Key City Theatre on Oct. 7.
The organization is pitching the event as an opportunity for all residents of the City of Cranbrook to engage in and discuss important political issues that are relevant to the community.
Candidates will be asked a series of questions submitted anonymously by the audience prior to the event.
The forum will be hosted live at the Key City Theatre on the evening of Monday, October 7th. This event is open to all residents and is free of charge. A recording of the event will be available on the JCI Kootenay Facebook page following the event.
Just before the forum, the candidates will be in the lobby of the Key City Theatre so the public will have the opportunity to meet them face to face. During that time, questions will be received for consideration in the forum.
If a member of the public is unable to attend the forum in person, questions can be submitted to either dcrema@jcikootenay.com, or the JCI Kootenay Facebook Page by 11:59am on the day of the forum so they can be included.
All questions will be screened for appropriateness before the event and not all questions may be asked.
If there are any questions or concerns regarding this event, please feel free to contact dcrema@jcikootenay.com.
