Update: Highway 97 reopens north of Quesnel after motor vehicle crash

There is no detour or alternate route

Update:

Highway 97 re-opened both ways just after 1 a.m. after being closed for several hours due to a motor vehicle crash.

Update:

DriveBC has no estimate for when the road will reopen.

The next update is expected on Nov. 30.

Original:

Highway 97 is closed in both directions at Hush Lake Road, 20 km north of Quesnel Friday evening, Nov. 29.

DriveBC is reporting there is no detour and no alternate route and no estimate time of opening. 

The next update is expected at 9:15 p.m.
