Emergency services respond to single vehicle in crash in Barriere

Right after the crash, a major storm rolled in with heavy rain

A single-vehicle crash occurred Friday, Aug. 23 in Barriere just after 6 p.m. 

RCMP blocked Highway 5, and BC Emergency Health Services responded. 

Northbound traffic was stopped and the right northbound lane was completely closed. 

A witness at the scene told Black Press there a heavy rain storm blew in right after the incident.
